Project Brazil
In November 2021, Karpowership signed its first LNG-to-Power contract in the transatlantic continent with Brazil. Our company has been operational in Sepetiba Bay, Brazil since 2022 and currently operates with 4 Powerships and 1 FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit), generating 560 MW of electricity.
At Karpowership, we aim to contribute to natural resource utilization and industrialization through investment in upstream, LNG and liquefaction projects. We support countries' energy mix, in addition to renewable energy opportunities, with our NG or LNG capabilities. Our LNG-to-Power project in Brazil provides energy security and efficiency for Brazilian society through clean, firm and sustainable energy generation.
We are a one-stop solution partner with our expertise in floating infrastructures with a fleet of Powerships, FSRUs, and LNG Carriers.
